At The Lush Leaf, we are dedicated to ensuring your plants and seeds arrive safely and in excellent condition. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures for processing, shipping, and delivering your orders.
1. Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).
Special Note for Live Plants: To minimize transit time and ensure the health and freshness of your live plants, orders containing live plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Wednesday. This helps prevent plants from being held in transit over weekends.
2. Estimated Standard Shipping Times & Rates
We offer estimated standard shipping services to both the United States and the United Kingdom. Please note that these are estimated delivery windows, and actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays or other unforeseen circumstances.

United Kingdom: 5–7 business days — Flat rate: $5.99 GBP

Australia: 7-14 Business Days — Flat rate: $6 AUD
- Canada : 7-14 Business Days — Flat rate: $6 AUD
Please Note: During periods of high demand or peak seasons (typically Spring to Summer), some specialty items such as seeds and dry goods may require an extended processing and delivery time of 7–14 business days due to increased order volume and necessary restocking periods.
3. Live Plant Shipping Details
All live plants are meticulously packed using breathable, moisture-retentive materials to maintain their health and freshness during transit.

Weather Considerations: In cases of extreme heat or cold temperatures, we may temporarily pause shipping to protect your order from adverse conditions. We reserve the right to add heat or cold packs to your package at our discretion, depending on your shipping location and prevailing weather conditions.

Transit Stress: Minor cosmetic issues such as slight soil displacement, minor leaf loss, or light wilting are common during shipping due to transit stress. These are generally not indicative of a damaged plant and the plant will typically recover with proper care.
4. Seeds & Dry Goods Shipping Details
Seeds, garden tools, and other non-perishable dry items may be shipped separately from live plants. Please allow 10–14 business days for the processing and delivery of these items, especially during peak seasons when demand is high.
5. Delivery & Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information. This will allow you to monitor the progress of your delivery. We will endeavor to notify you promptly of any significant delays beyond the estimated delivery window.

Important Note for Live Plants: Due to varying customs regulations and agricultural laws, live plants may not be eligible for international shipping to all regions within these countries or to other countries not listed.
7. Order Issues & Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or contains incorrect products, please contact us at hello@thelushleaf.com within 48 hours of delivery. To help us resolve the issue promptly, please include your order number and clear photographs of the issue (e.g., damaged packaging, damaged item, incorrect item).
8. Weather-Related Delays
We closely monitor weather conditions across shipping routes. If your delivery area is experiencing extreme weather (e.g., severe heatwaves, freezing temperatures, heavy storms), we may temporarily hold your shipment to ensure the safety and viability of your plants. If you require your order urgently during such conditions, please contact us to discuss potential weather-safe shipping options, though additional charges may apply.
9. PO Boxes & Remote Areas
Shipping to PO boxes is available for most small items, including seeds and dry goods. However, due to size and perishable nature, not all live plant orders can be delivered to PO boxes. Deliveries to remote or rural areas may naturally require additional transit time.
10. Order Changes & Cancellations
You may request to modify or cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, processing may have already begun, and we may not be able to accommodate changes or cancellations. 11. Customer Responsibility
Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete before placing your order. We are not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.
